CONSIDER AN AWARD OF BID FOR PROJECT NO. 16163, MEMORIAL PARK PAVEMENT\nREHABILITATION (BID NO. 2023-11)\nCEQA: Categorically exempt from further environmental review pursuant to Section 15301(c).\nRecommended Action:\nApprove the Plans and Specifications for Project No. 16163, Memorial Park Pavement\nRehabilitation; waive minor bid irregularities; award the construction contract to Onyx Paving\nCompany, Inc. in the amount of $964,060 (Base bid amount plus additive bid items #22 and\n#23); approve a construction contingency in the amount of $185,940, for a total amount of\n$1,150,000; and authorize the City Manager to execute any extensions, and any future\namendments within the City Manager’s authority.
