6H. WORKFORCE INNOVATION AND OPPORTUNITY ACT\nThe City has an opportunity to participate in the federal Workforce Innovation and\nOpportunity Act (WIOA) through a partnership with the County of Orange – OC\nCommunity Services Workforce & Economic Development to host paid interns.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council find that this item is not subject to California Environmental Quality Act\n(“CEQA”) pursuant to Sections 15378(b)(5)(Organizational or administrative\nactivities of governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in\nthe environment); and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute any necessary documents to participate in\nthe WIOA Program through a partnership with the County of Orange – OC\nCommunity Services Workforce & Economic Development.
