ACCEPT DONATION: ALHAMBRA CIVIC CENTER LIBRARY 2024 SUMMER\nREADING PROGRAM – F2M23-12, M2M23-206\nStaff requests that the City Council accept the gift of $27,000 from the Alhambra Public\nLibrary Foundation to be used to support the Library’s 2024 Summer Reading Program.\nThe generously donated funds will be used to provide marketing and outreach, books for\ngiveaway, program incentives, a slate of programming by outside vendors, and\nprogramming refreshments.\nRecommended Action: City Council accept a $27,000 donation from the Alhambra\nPublic Library Foundation to support the Library’s Annual Summer Reading Program;\nappropriate revenue and expenditure funds in the amount of $27,000; and, direct staff to\nundertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
