12. ACCEPTANCE OF THE 2022 SHSP GRANT FUNDING\nThe Police Department will be utilizing the 2022 State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) grant\nfunding to enhance cybersecurity equipment such as: hardware, computer(s), firewall systems,\nand/or mobile police vehicle radios. This equipment will reinforce security in an effort to prevent\ncyber-attacks.\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff’s recommendation that the City Council adopt the attached Resolution thereby accepting\ngrant funds and authorizing the Police Department to begin expending these funds.
