Mayor Pro Tem Van is requesting to discuss\nstrengthening the City’s tobacco retail license ordinance to address any potential\nloopholes, ensure that the definition of both "tobacco retailer" and "flavored tobacco" is\nadequately defined, ensure that the City has an adequate application fee to cover the\ncost of enforcement and monitoring, and methodize compliance monitoring frequencies.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council provide direction to staff.\nDecember 12, 2023
