9. AUTHORIZATION OF ANNUAL INVESTMENT POLICY, DELEGATION OF\nINVESTMENT AUTHORITY TO THE CITY TREASURER AND APPROVAL\nOF THE DEPUTY CITY TREASURER DESIGNEE WITH INVESTMENT\nAUTHORITY\nRecommendations: It is recommended by the City Treasurer that the City Council:\n(1) Authorize the 2024 Investment Policy;\n(2) Adopt the resolution titled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF\nTHE CITY OF LAGUNA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DELEGATING\nINVESTMENT AUTHORITY TO THE CITY TREASURER”; and\n(3) Authorize the Deputy Treasurer, Victoria McIntosh, to complete the investment\nduties in the event that the City Treasurer is not available.
