Item No. 22. 2022-1016 CONSIDER APPROVAL AND RATIFICATION OF\nCERTAIN CHANGE ORDERS AND APPROVAL OF\nRESOLUTION NO. 22-258 “A RESOLUTION OF THE\nFISCAL YEAR 2022-23 BUDGET IN THE GENERAL\nFUND AND SPECIAL REVENUE FUNDS" TO\nPROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDING TO COMPLETE\nTHE REMAINING WORK FOR PROJECT NO. 1606:\n223RD STREET WIDENING AND PAVEMENT\nREHABILITATION FROM WILMINGTON AVE TO THE\nEAST CITY LIMIT (CITY COUNCIL)\nRecommendation: TAKE the following action:\n1. APPROVE and RATIFY the change orders for the total amount\nof $495,596.88. City Council previously approved funding for\n$250,708.75 of this amount as a contingency. (Exhibit No.'s 4-5).\n2. ADOPT Resolution No. 22-258, "A Resolution of the City\nCouncil of the City of Carson amending the fiscal year 2022-23\nbudget in the General Fund and Special Revenue Funds"\nappropriating $175,000 from the SB1 Fund balance to cover\npending change orders, other additional work, and other\nunforeseen construction work that may be required to complete\nProject No. 1606: 223rd Street Widening and Pavement\nRehabilitation from Wilmington Avenue to the East City limit\n(Exhibit No. 3).
