L. Award Construction Contract to RAMCO for the 7th Street Fencing Upgrade and Activation Project\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Adopt a finding of Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15301 (Existing Facilities),\nSection 15302 (Replacement/Reconstruction), Section 15304 (Minor Alterations to Land),\nand Section 15311 (Accessory Structures) of the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA) Guidelines.\n2. Award Bid #SP2577 to RAMCO General Engineering Contractor for construction\nservices for the 7th Street Fencing Upgrade and Activation Project for the Department of\nTransportation.\n3. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute a contract with RAMCO General\nEngineering Contractor in an amount not to exceed $1,985,000 (including a $250,000\ncontingency).\n4. Authorize the Director of Public Works to issue any necessary change orders to\ncomplete additional work within contract authority.\n5.
