3. ADOPT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE HOUSING LINKAGE PILOT PROGRAM AND APPROPRIATE\nGRANT FUNDING FROM THE SAN GABRIEL VALLEY COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS (SGVCOG)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve the Agreement between the City of Montebello and the San Gabriel Valley Council of\nGovernments (SGVCOG) to Develop and Operate the Housing Linkage Pilot Program (HLPP)\n(Attachment B); and\n2. Approve the appropriation of $23,466 awarded to the City of Montebello by SGVCOG; and\n3. Amend the Fiscal Year 2023-24 budget by increasing appropriations by $23,466 in Account No. 265-85-\n864-6040.10 (Grants, Fire, SGVCOG Housing Linkage Pilot Program, Other Contract Services\n[Expenditures]) and Account No. 265-99-4198.24 (Grants, Miscellaneous Grants, SGVCOG Housing\nLinkage Pilot Program [Revenue]); and\n4. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
