A. AGREEMENT WITH AEF SYSTEMS CONSULTING, INCORPORATED FOR\nENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING ADVISORY SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT\nOF $47,970\nThe City currently uses Tyler Eden software for financial management needs,\nhaving utilized the system for over 20 years. Recently, Tyler has communicated\nthat support for the Eden system will end beginning in 2027. Consequently, the\nCity will need to procure and fully implement a new enterprise resource\nplanning system before the specified date through agreement with AEF System\nConsulting. The total cost for the ERP advisory consulting agreement is $47,970.\nThe 2023-24 general fund budget included $30,000 for this project. Additional\nbudgeted funds will be utilized in the finance department (general fund) to fund\nthe remaining $17,970 of this agreement, and no additional appropriations to\nthe 2023-24 general fund budget are necessary.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to enter\ninto a professional services agreement with AEF Systems Consulting, Inc. for\nERP advisory services.
