12.7 Consideration and Approval of a First Amendment to the Exclusive Negotiating\nAgreement By and Between the City of El Monte and Prima Development for the\nPotential Development of an Affordable Multi-Family Rental Housing and Mixed-Use\nProject on a 6.11-Acre Portion of the 13.66-Acre Property Owned by the County of Los\nAngeles Located at 4024 Durfee Avenue, El Monte.\nRECOMMENDATION OF BUSINESS ITEM UNDER CONSIDERATION:\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve a First Amendment to the Exclusive Negotiating Agreement by and between the\nCity of El Monte and Prima Development for the potential development of an affordable\nmulti-family rental housing and mixed-use project on a 6.11-acre portion of the 13.66-\nacre property owned by the County of Los Angeles located at 4024 Durfee Avenue, El\nMonte to extend the term of the ENA to December 31, 2024, with up to two (2) additional\n180-day periods; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to enter into and execute the First Amendment to the ENA\nrelated documents, as approved to form by the City Attorney, and perform other actions\nnecessary to implement the activities and fulfill the intent of the First Amendment to the\nENA.\nTotal Cost: N/A Account No: N/A\nIs the cost of this item budgeted?
