74. Human Trafficking Advocate Program Grant Funds\nRecommendation: Authorize the District Attorney to complete the grant\napplication process with the California Governor’s Office of Emergency\nServices (Cal OES), for the continued grant funding for the Human Trafficking\nAdvocate (HA) Program, for the performance period beginning January 1,\n2024 through December 31, 2024, in the amount of $147,000, fully supported\nwith Victims of Crime Act Federal Funds(VOCA); instruct the Chair to sign the\nGrant Subaward Certification of Assurance of Compliance form required to\ncomplete the grant application; and authorize the District Attorney, upon award\nof grant funding by Cal OES, accept and execute the Grant Award Agreement\nand serve as Project Director for the program, which includes authorization to\napprove subsequent amendments, modifications, and/or extensions to the Cal\nOES grant agreements that have no Net County Cost impact to the County.\n(District Attorney) APPROVE (23-4475)
