62. On-Call Environmental Laboratory Services - Drinking Water Contract\nRecommendation: Award a contract to Eurofins Eaton Analytical, LLC, for\non-call environmental laboratory services - drinking water, for a term of three\nyears, with a one-year renewal and up to six month-to-month extension options,\nfor a maximum potential contract term of 54 months and a maximum potential\ncontract amount of $1,633,500; find that the contract is exempt from the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act; and authorize the Director of Public\nWorks to take the following actions: (Department of Public Works) APPROVE\nExecute and exercise the extension options if, in the opinion of the\nDirector, Eurofins Eaton Analytical, LLC has successfully performed\nduring the previous contract period, and the services are still required;\nApprove and execute amendments to incorporate necessary changes\nwithin the scope of work, and suspend work, if it is in the best interest of\nthe County to do so; and\nAnnually increase the contract amount up to an additional 10% of the\nannual contract amount, which is included in the maximum potential\ncontract amount for unforeseen additional work within the scope of the\ncontract, if required, and adjust the annual contract amount for each\noption year over the term of the contract to allow for an annual Cost of\nLiving Adjustment in accordance with County policy and the terms of the\ncontract.
