73. Elder Abuse Program Grant Funds\nRecommendation: Authorize the District Attorney to complete the grant\napplication process with the California Governor’s Office of Emergency\nServices (Cal OES), for continued grant funding for the Elder Abuse (XE)\nProgram, for the performance period beginning January 1, 2024 through\nDecember 31, 2024, in the amount of $217,444, fully supported with Victims of\nCrime Act Federal Funds; instruct the Chair to sign the Grant Subaward\nCertification of Assurance of Compliance form required to complete the grant\napplication; and authorize the District Attorney, upon award of grant funding by\nCal OES, to accept and execute the Grant Award Agreement and serve as\nProject Director for the program, which includes authorization to approve\nsubsequent amendments, modifications, and/or extensions to the Cal OES grant\nagreements that have no Net County Cost impact to the County.
