(1)\nRecommendation: Establish and approve the Capital Projects as detailed below;\nLos Angeles General (LA General) Medical Center Linear Accelerator\nEquipment Replacement and Room Remodel Project, Capital Project (CP) No.\n8A002, with a total project budget of $6,776,000; the LA General Medical\nCenter Computed Tomography Simulator Equipment Replacement and Room\nRemodel Project, CP No. 8A003, with a total project budget of $3,112,000, and\nthe LA General Medical Center General Radiology Equipment Replacement and\nRoom Remodel Project, CP No. 8A004, with a total project budget of\n$4,409,000; approve the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-24 appropriation adjustment of\n$10,406,000 to allocate $4,724,000, $2,363,000, and $3,319,000 from the\nDepartment of Health Services' (DHS) Enterprise Fund-Committed for DHS to\nfund the estimated FY 2023-24 expenditures for the proposed Projects,\nrespectively; authorize the Director of Public Works to deliver the projects using\nBoard-approved Job Order Contracts; and find that the proposed Projects are\nexempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
