A.16. AUTHORIZATION TO AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO\nELECNOR BELCO ELECTRIC, INC. FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL UPGRADES\nAT PIGEON PASS ROAD AND IRONWOOD AVENUE – PROJECT 808\n0013 (Report of: Public Works)\nRecommendations:\n1. Award a construction contract to Elecnor Belco Electric, Inc., 14320 Albers\nWay, Chino, CA 91710, for the Traffic Signal Upgrades at Pigeon Pass\nRoad and Ironwood Avenue in the amount of $268,045.00, funded by\nMeasure A and Gas Tax, and authorize the City Manager to execute a\ncontract with Elecnor Belco Electric, Inc. in substantial conformance with\nthe attached contract form;\n2. Authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order for Elecnor Belco Electric,\nInc. in the amount of $308,251.00 (bid amount plus approximate 15%\ncontingency) when the contract has been signed by all parties;\n3. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to execute any\nsubsequent related change orders to the contract with Elecnor Belco\nElectric, Inc. up to, but not exceeding, a contingency of $40,206.00\nsubject to the approval of the City Attorney; and\n4. Authorize a budget adjustment as set forth in the Fiscal Impact section of\nthis report to provide sufficient budget to complete the construction of the\nTraffic Signal Upgrades at Pigeon Pass Road and Ironwood Avenue.
