ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION AFFIRMING VISION ZERO FOR TRAFFIC SAFETY AND\nACCEPTING THE FY22/23 ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE ANNUAL\nREPORT – This item requests adoption of a Resolution affirming the City’s Vision Zero\nphilosophy to aid in future grant applications for traffic safety improvements and accepting\nthe Active Transportation Committee’s Annual Report. The Annual Report summarizes the\nCity’s Complete Streets activities and the Active Transportation Committee’s progress and\naccomplishments during fiscal year 2022/2023.\nRECOMMENDATION: That the City Council adopt the attached Resolution No. 24-01\naffirming Vision Zero for traffic safety and accepting of the Active Transportation Committee\nAnnual Report (Annual Report) for fiscal year 2022/2023.
