18. BID & PURCHASE - MAINTENANCE/GENERAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH\nAUGUSTINE GENERAL ENGINEERING, INC., FOR CRITICAL WATER MAIN\nREPLACEMENT ON CARMELITA AVENUE\nThat the City Council:\na. Award the Maintenance/General Services Agreement with Augustine General\nEngineering Inc., of Alta Loma, CA, in the amount of $1,611,495 to perform\ncritical water main replacement on Carmelita Avenue, a small section in Arcadia\nStreet, and Coronita Street.\nb. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the Maintenance/General\nServices Agreement with Augustine General Engineering Inc. for a total contract\nof $1,611,495, including any non-substantive extensions, purchase orders,\nchange orders and amendments up to $100,000, as authorized in Corona\nMunicipal Code Section 3.08.060(J).\nc. Authorize the creation of a new Capital Improvement Project titled “Carmelita\nAvenue Water Main Installation.”\nd. Authorize an appropriation in the amount of $1,711,495 from the Water Utility\nFund 570 to the newly created Carmelita Avenue Water Main Installation Capital\nImprovement Project.\nThat the Corona Utility Authority review, ratify, and to the extent necessary, direct\nthat the City Council take the above actions.
