19. BID & PURCHASE - MAINTENANCE/GENERAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH\nVALVERDE CONSTRUCTION INC. FOR CRITICAL WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT ON\nRIDGEVIEW TERRACE\nThat the City Council:\na. Award the Maintenance/General Services Agreement with Valverde Construction,\nAgenda\nInc., of Santa Fe Springs, CA, in the amount of $1,894,157 to perform critical\nwater main replacement on Ridgeview Terrace, a section on Via Santiago and\nfour cul-de-sac sections adjacent to Ridgeview Terrace.\nb. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute a Maintenance/General\nServices Agreement with Valverde Construction, Inc., for a total contract amount\nof $1,894,157, including non-substantive extensions, purchase orders, change\norders and amendments up to $100,000, as authorized in Corona Municipal\nCode Section 3.08.060(J).\nc. Authorize the creation of a new Capital Improvement Project titled “Ridgeview\nTerrace Water Main Installation.”\nd. Authorize an appropriation in the amount of $1,994,157 from the Water Utility\nFund 570 to the newly created Ridgeview Terrace Water Main Installation Capital\nImprovement Project.\nThat the Corona Utility Authority review, ratify, and to the extent necessary, direct\nthat the City Council take the above actions.
