4. DESIGNATION OF AUTHORIZED SIGNATORY AGENTS FOR FEMA AND\nCAL OES DISASTER RECOVERY AND PREPAREDNESS GRANTS\nRecommendations:\n(1) Adopt the “State of California Designation of Applicant’s Agent Resolution for\nNon-State Agencies” to designate the City Manager, the Assistant City Manager,\nthe Director of Finance & Technology Services, the Fire Chief, and the Chief of\nPolice as authorized agent signatories for disaster recovery assistance\nreimbursements; and\n(2) Adopt the “Governing Body Resolution” to designate the City Manager, the\nAssistant City Manager, the Director of Finance & Technology, the Fire Chief, and\nthe Chief of Police as authorized agent signatories for the following grants: Hazard\nMitigation Grant Program, Emergency Management Performance Grant,\nHomeland Security Grant Program, and the Urban Area Security Initiative Grant\nprogram during their respective grant periods Fiscal Years 2023-24, 2024-25, and\n2025-26.
