3. Amend the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Operating Budget by Appropriating $42,532 from the\nGeneral Fund Reserves and Approve an Amendment to the Agreement with Merchants\nLandscape Services, Inc. for Increased Cleaning Frequency at all Park Restrooms\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1) Adopt the following resolution:\nRESOLUTION NO. 2024-13 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-24\nOPERATING BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $42,532 FROM THE GENERAL FUND\nRESERVES FOR INCREASED RESTROOM MAINTENANCE AT CITY PARKS\n2) Approve an amendment to the agreement with Merchants Landscape Services, Inc. to\nincrease cleaning frequency at all park and occupied space restrooms in an annual\namount of $127,596 effective February 29, 2024, and increase the total not-to-exceed\ncompensation amount with a 2.8% Consumer Price Index adjustment to $1,798,314\nfor the first extension; and\n3) Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the amendment and any related\ndocuments and extensions, subject to approval by the City Attorney.
