Public Hearing Regarding General Plan Amendment No.\nGPA 2021-02, 2021-2029 Housing Element Update\n(Amendment to the Adopted 2021-2029 Housing Element\nto address additional California Department of Housing and\nCommunity Development (HCD) Comments) Fiscal Impact:\nNone\nRecommended Action: It is recommended that the City\nCouncil:\n1) Open the public hearing concerning General Plan\nAmendment No. GPA 2021-02; and\n2) Receive the Staff report and Staff presentation, and\nconsider all public testimony and Planning\nCommission recommendations; and\n3) Adopt Resolution R-2024-06, a Resolution of the City\nCouncil of the City of Placentia, California, finding that\nadoption of the Housing Element is exempt from the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant\nto CEQA Section 15061(b)(3) and approving and\nadopting General Plan Amendment No. GPA 2021-02,\nan amendment to the City of Placentia General Plan\nHousing Element, including any additional revisions\nrequired by the California Department of Housing and\nCommunity Development (HCD); and\n4) Authorize the Director of Development Services or\ndesignee to file all documents with the California\nDepartment of Housing and Community Development\n(HCD) on behalf of the City.\nStaff Report\n1.
