6. BUILDING PLAN CHECK AND INSPECTION SERVICES – AWARD OF\nCONTRACT TO TRANSTECH ENGINEERING, INC. (PUBLIC WORKS)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Accept the proposal from and award a contract to Transtech Engineering, Inc.\n(Transtech) for Building Plan Check and Inspection Services; and\n2) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.\nCONSENT CALENDAR\nAll matters listed under the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine. Any items a\nCouncilmember wishes to discuss should be designated at this time. All other items may\nbe approved in a single motion.
