10. AWARD CONTRACT: PURCHASE, DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION OF FURNITURE,\nFIXTURES AND EQUIPMENT AT THE POLICE DEPARTMENT – F2M23-64, RFP2M23-\n28, C2M24-10, M2M24-21\nOn November 13, 2023, the City Council approved the distribution of a Request for\nProposals (RFP) for the purchase, delivery and installation of furniture, fixtures, and\nequipment for the Police Department facility. On December 27, 2023, the City received\ntwo proposals. Four Police Department employees evaluated and ranked the responding\nproposals in accordance with the criteria stated in the RFP. One proposal did not include\nthe required payment of prevailing wages. The proposal received from Bask meets all\nrequirements of the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP including quality and\ncompleteness of submitted proposal, project timeline and implementation plan, fee\nproposal, qualifications, and experience with similar types of efforts.\nRecommended Action: City Council award a contract, subject to final language\napproval by the City Manager and City Attorney, to Bask in an amount up to $133,554.35\nfor professional services to furnish sections of the Police Department; authorize the Chief\nof Police to execute said agreement; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to\nfinalize City Council’s action.
