12. LEVEL III RISK ASSESSMENT OF PUBLIC TREE AT 387 EL CAMINO DEL\nMAR AND UPDATE TO TREE REMOVAL AND PLANTING POLICY FOR\nPUBLIC TREES\nRecommendations:\n(1) Approve removal of the lemon-scented gum tree located at 387 El Camino Del\nMar;\n(2) Determine that the recommended action is exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) according to State CEQA Guidelines section\n15304 (Class 4) categorical exemption;\n(3) Direct staff to file and post a Notice of Exemption consistent with the above-\nstated CEQA finding within five days of this approval; and\n(4) Adopt the updated Tree Removal and Planting Policy for Public Trees.
