7.c. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF THE WOMEN'S\nEMPOWERMENT EVENT\nStaff is requesting the City Council's approval to organize the Women's\nEmpowerment event in honor of Women's History Month. The proposed\nevent date is Saturday, March 9th, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at the\nSouth El Monte Senior Center.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Approve the Women's Empowerment event to be held on Saturday,\nMarch 9th, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at the South El Monte Senior\nCenter; and\n2. Approve allocating $3,000.00 from the City's Special Events account\n01-151-1543-5952 to host the event.
