7.e. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL TO REJECT ALL BIDS AND READVERTISE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR JANITORIAL\nMAINTENANCE SERVICES\nThe City received six (6) proposals for Janitorial Maintenance Services.\nOut of the six (6), only one (1) proposal met the criteria set by the City\nduring the evaluation process. Staff recommends for the City to readvertise the Request for Proposals (RFP) to ensure a minimum of two (2)\nqualifying proposals are received.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council reject the six\n(6) proposals received and authorize the re-advertisement of the Request\nfor Proposals (RFP) for Janitorial Maintenance Service and authorize staff\nto solicit new proposals to ensure the City receives the best pricing\navailable.\n7.4. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 24-122,\nAPPROVING PROJECT ACCEPTANCE AND - NOTICE ' OF\nCOMPLETION OF FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2022-23 RESIDENTIAL STREET\nREHABILITATION PROJECT\nOn June 1, 2023, the Engineering Department solicited bids for the FY\n2022-23 Residential Street Rehabilitation Project. The work asphalt\nroadway resurfacing (asphalt cold mill and overlay), asphalt pothole\nrepairs, reconstruction of concrete curb ramps, sidewalks, curb and gutter\nat various locations and restoration of pavement markings and striping.\nThe final cost for the construction work completed by All American Asphalt\nis $934,248.18.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 24-122, accepting the completion of FY 2022-23\nResidential Street Rehabilitation Project;\n2. Authorize City Clerk to send the Notice of Completion for recordation\nto the Los Angeles County Recorder's Office; and\n3. Release retention accordingly.
