18. Provide staff direction on resurfacing of rink at Grand Avenue\nPark to facilitate either (1) pickleball; (2) roller-skating sports; or\n(3) hybrid of pickleball and roller-skating sports; and optional\nfuture additional enhancements in Fiscal Year 2024-25 budget,\nwhich may include (1) removal of roller hockey boards and chain\nlink, and installation of permanent pickleball courts and\nbasketball hoop/court; (2) removal of roller hockey boards and\nchain link, and installation of four permanent pickleball courts\nand maintain area for roller sports; or (3) repair/replacement of\nroller hockey chain link and higher grade pickleball netting; and\ndetermine project is exempt from review under California\nEnvironmental Quality Act\nITEMS INITIATED BY COUNCIL
