4. NIB: FIRE DEPARTMENT STATION 71 WOMEN’S LOCKER/BATHROOM REMODEL\nPROJECT – F2M23-23, N2M23-15\nThe women’s locker and bathroom area at Fire Station 71 is old and deteriorated. It is in\nneed of a complete rehabilitation. Plans and specifications have been prepared to\nrehabilitate the locker/bathroom area with new fixtures, flooring, lighting, showers,\nplumbing fixtures, paint, wall and expanded locker area. Bids are due no later than 10:30\na.m. on March 16, 2023 in the City Clerk’s Office and will be opened at 11:00 a.m. that\nsame day.\nRecommended Action: City Council authorize staff to circulate a Notice Inviting Bids\nto prospective contractors for the Alhambra Fire Department Station 71 Women’s\nLocker/Bathroom Remodel Project; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to\nfinalize Council’s action.
