7. RESOLUTION NO. - Cooperative Agreement with the California Department of\nTransportation: Covering support and dedicated staff services from various Authorities Having\nJurisdiction over the Airfield and Terminal Modernization Project - Roadway Improvements at\nLos Angeles International Airport; and appropriation of capital funds not to exceed $12,000,000\nfor said support and services\nPURPOSE: The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Cooperative Agreement will\nallow Los Angeles World Airports to work with Caltrans staff to develop and complete the\nProject Initiation Documents for the roadway improvements within the Caltrans right-of-way\nrelated to the Airfield and Terminal Modernization Project - Roadway Improvements.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport\nCommissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2.i of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines;\napprove the Cooperative Agreement with the California Department of Transportation; further\napprove appropriation of capital funding not to exceed $12,000,000 for various authorities to\nprovide dedicated staff to support the project; authorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee,\nhttps://mail-attachment.googleusercontent.com/attachment/u/0/?ui=2&ik=e70a2d67c1&attid=0.1&permmsgid=msg-f:1790714420415944867&th=18d9e5471b0fd8… 6/10\n2/12/24, 4:55 PM mail-attachment.googleusercontent.com/attachment/u/0/?ui=2&ik=e70a2d67c1&attid=0.1&permmsgid=msg-f:1790714420415944867&th=18d9…\nto execute said Cooperative Agreement after approval as to form by the City Attorney; further\nauthorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to execute subsequent cooperative\nagreements with the California Department of Transportation after approval as to form by the\nCity Attorney; and further authorize the Chief Financial Officer, or designee, to reallocate the\nappropriation to Capital Improvement Program-approved project- and program-specific Work\nBreakdown Structure numbers based on actual expenditures and in accordance with the\ngovernance process.
