RESOLUTION NO. - First Amendment to Lease LAA-9196 with MOEV, Inc.: To extend the\nterm by thirty-nine (39) months, covering office space in the Los Angeles World Airports-owned\nSkyview Center, located at 6033 West Century Boulevard, for estimated net revenue of $142,340\nover the extension term\nPURPOSE: Staff request approval of the proposed First Amendment to Office Lease LAA-9196\nwith MOEV, Inc. for office space at Skyview Center. Approval of the First Amendment will\nmaintain and grow lease revenue. This action will generate $142,340 in revenue for Los Angeles\nWorld Airports over the thirty-nine (39)-month term.\n1.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport\nCommissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct (CEQA) pursuant to Article III, Class 1 (18)(c) and (e) of the Los Angeles City CEQA\nGuidelines; find that the City's competitive bidding restrictions do not apply pursuant to Boad\nResolution 27530 whereby the Board of Airport Commissioners and the City Council found that\nit would be in the best interest of the City to contract with Colliers International Real Estate\nManagement Services, Inc. for leasing services at Skyview Center; approve the First Amendment\nto Lease LAA-9196 with MOEV, Inc.; authorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to\nexecute said Lease after approval as to form by the City Attorney; and further approve\nappropriation of $9,085.51 for broker commissions.
