24. 24-143 Item Submitted by Council Member Moser - Request for\nTransparency and Detailed Reporting on the Implementation of\nResolution 2023-41 Regarding Library Material Accessibility\nRecommended Action:\nI request City staff to prepare and present a comprehensive report on the various aspects\nrelated to the implementation of Resolution 2023-41. This includes criteria for material\nassessment and relocation; list of relocated materials; newly acquired materials; library access\nchanges; community engagement and feedback process; digital assets; and clarification on\nyouth re-carding process.\nThis report is requested to be prepared and presented at the next available City Council\nmeeting. In the interim, staff is also asked to make (1) the criteria for assessment and\nre-location; and (2) the list of relocated books and materials available to the public as soon as\npossible (available at each library location and via the library website) to ensure ongoing\ntransparency and community engagement.
