8) CONSIDERATION OF VERDUGO FIRE COMMUNICATIONS DISPATCH SERVICE\nAGREEMENT WITH THE CITIES OF BURBANK, GLENDALE, AND PASADENA FOR FIRE\nDEPARTMENT DISPATCHING SERVICES\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Authorize the Acting City Manager to negotiate and execute a two-year agreement with a\none-year renewal option with the Cities of Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena for Fire\nDepartment dispatching services, in such final form as approved by the City Attorney. The\nagreement includes onboarding costs of approximately $50,000, which would only be\npayable if the City decides not to exercise the renewal option.\n2. Authorize the Acting City Manager to negotiate and execute any and all other agreements\nnecessary for the transition of Fire Department dispatching services and approve a\nproject budget not to exceed $25,000, for radio programming, apparatus graphics, and\nunforeseen transition costs.\n3. Authorize the Acting City Manager to negotiate any amendments to the agreements in\nsuch form approved by the City Attorney; and\n4.
