6. AWARD OF A CONTRACT TO COMMERCIAL DOOR COMPANY INC. FOR\nTHE NEW ROLL-UP DOORS AT FIRE STATION NO. 3 PARKING GARAGE\nPROJECT; AND\nAPPROVAL OF A CORRESPONDING PURCHASE ORDER IN THE NOT-TO-\nEXCEED AMOUNT OF $170,097; AND\nAPPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR WITH RESPECT\nTO DESIGN CRITERIA.\nComment: Staff recommends that City Council: 1. Approve the award of a contract\nto the lowest responsible bidder Commercial Door Company Inc. for the New Roll-\nUp Doors at Fire Station No. 3 Parking Garage Project in the amount of $147,910;\nand 2. Approve a construction contingency in the amount of $22,187 (15%); and 3.\nApprove a purchase order in the not-to-exceed amount of $170,097; and 4. Approve\nthe plans and specifications as detailed in the bid documents, which are adopted\nand approved with respect to design criteria.
