Recommended Compensation Adjustment Related to the City Manager’s\nPerformance Evaluation and First Amendment to Employment Contract\nRecommended Action: The City Council Human Resources Subcommittee\nrecommends that the: 1) City Council adopt the Resolution (Attachment A)\napproving changes to the City Manager’s compensation effective December 13,\n2023, and updating the Management, Professional Confidential salary schedule\nto reflect the change (Exhibit A to Attachment A); 2) Approve the First Amendment\nto the City Manager’s Employment Agreement (Attachment B) extending the term\nto December 13, 2030, and increasing deferred compensation; and 3) Amend the\nFiscal Year 2023-24 Operating and Capital Budget as indicated in the Fiscal\nImpact Section of this report.\nReference: Clerk’s File No. 102-8, 406-1, 502-1
