4. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION 2024-XX TO\nPARTICIPATE IN THE NATIONAL FLOOD INSURANCE PROGRAM AND\nCOOPERATE WITH THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY\nRECOMMENDED THAT CITY COUNCIL:\n1. Approve Resolution 2024-02 to participate in the National Flood Insurance\nprogram and cooperate with the federal emergency management agency.\n2. Authorize the Community Development Department to begin processing a\nfloodplain management ordinance that meets or exceeds the minimum National\nFlood Insurance management programs criteria.
