9. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL TO AWARD A CONSTRUCTION\nCONTRACT FOR CIP 2021-04 WELL NO. 16 AND PUMP STATION\nIMPROVEMENTS PROJECT\nRECOMMENDED THAT CITY COUNCIL:\n1. Award the contract to R2BUILD dba R2B Engineering for the construction of CIP\n2021-04 Well No. 16 and Pump Station Improvements Project as the lowest\nresponsive and responsible bidder for a not-to-exceed amount of $1,199,379\npayable from Account No. 681-8030-461.73-10 ($1,199,379.00); and\n2. Approve a fifteen percent (15%) construction contingency in the amount of\n$179,906.85 payable from Account No. 681-8030-461.73-10 ($179,906.85); and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the construction contract agreement and\nall applicable change orders in good faith
