3. AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH GALLUP INC., FOR\nEMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT SERVICES AND SURVEY FOR AN AMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED $256,250\n(Human Resources Dept.)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n(1) Find that the proposed action in the agenda report is exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA guidelines Section 15061(b)(3) “Common Sense” exemption; and\n(2) Authorize the City Manager to enter into a contract, as a result of a competitive selection process\nspecified by Section 4.08.047 of the Pasadena Municipal Code, with Gallup Inc., for Employee Engagement\nservices and\nsurvey for a total amount not-to-exceed $167,750 over a three-year term with the option to extend the\ncontract by two optional one-year extension periods. The value of each optional one-year extension period is not-\nto-exceed\n$44,250.
