3.8 GREAT PARK PERMANENT AMPHITHEATER\nPROJECT DESIGN DEVELOPMENT - SELECTION\nOF ARCHITECT / ENGINEER, CONSULTING\nOPERATOR, AND PARTNERSHIP MEMORANDUM\nOF UNDERSTANDING WITH PACIFIC SYMPHONY\nACTION:\n1) Authorize the City Manager to enter into a consulting\nservices agreement with Populous, Inc. for Architecture\nand Engineering Services for the Great Park\nAmphitheater, and approve a budget appropriation of\n$14,952,310 from the Great Park Operating Fund for\nthese services.\n2) Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute\nan Exclusive Negotiating Agreement with ASM Global\nfor consultation services related to the planning and\ndesign of the Great Park Amphitheater.\n3) Authorize the City Manager to enter into a\nMemorandum of Understanding with the Pacific\nSymphony.\n(Unless otherwise directed by a member of the City\nCouncil, the vote on this matter will reflect the prior\naction of each Councilmember when he or she sat and\nvoted as a member of the Board of Directors of the\nGreat Park Corporation. However, if a Councilmember\nis not present at the City Council meeting, his or her\nvote will be reflected as absent.)\n3.8
