Item No. 19. 2022-1013 CONSIDER ALLOCATING FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022-23 FROM THE CARSON HOUSING AUTHORITY FOR HOMELESS PREVENTION AND RAPID RE-HOUSING. Recommendation: 1. ALLOCATE $100,000 from the FY 2022-23 Housing Authority budget for homeless prevention and rapid rehousing for Carson's homeless population. 2. AUTHORIZE the City Manager to approve staff to direct funds to appropriate homelessness prevention activities as needed.
