Consideration and possible action to appoint members to fill vacancies on the City’s Advisory Committees and the Planning Commission.(Takaoka) (30 mins) Recommendation: 1) By majority vote of the entire City Council, appoint three members to the Emergency Preparedness Committee; three members to the Finance Advisory Committee; four members to the Infrastructure Management Advisory Committee; and two members to the Traffic Safety Committee, with terms of office ending in June 2026; 2) By majority vote of the entire City Council, appoint two members to fill special vacancies on the Civic Center Advisory Committee with terms of office ending in June 2024 and June 2026, respectively; and 3) By majority vote of the entire City Council, appoint one member to fill a special vacancy on the Planning Commission with a term of office ending in June 2026.
