C. REQUEST FOR TEMPORARY STREET CLOSURE ON BROADWAY FOR THE ARCHDIOCESAN EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION The City received a request from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, asking to use Broadway for a Eucharistic procession from the San Gabriel Mission to St. Luke Church. Recommendation: 1. Approve the temporary street closure on Broadway between Muscatel Avenue and Cloverly Avenue on March 25, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the Archdiocesan Eucharistic Procession; and 2. Find that approval of the temporary street closure is not a “Project” as defined under Section 15378 of the California Environmental Quality Act State Guidelines; therefore, pursuant to State Guidelines Section 15060(c)(3) no environmental review is required.
