B. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 23-5661 CONFIRMING MAYOR’S APPOINTMENT OF COUNCILMEMBERS TO SERVE AS DELEGATES AND ALTERNATES TO OTHER AGENCIES OR ORGANIZATIONS Councilmembers are appointed as delegates and alternates to other agencies or organizations to attend regularly scheduled meetings to discuss and make recommendations regarding issues that may affect cities in the Los Angeles County. Recommendation: 1. Adopt Resolution No. 23-5661 (Attachment “A”) confirming Mayor’s appointment of Councilmembers to serve as delegates and alternates to other agencies or organizations; and 2. Find that approval of the Mayor’s appointment of Councilmembers to serve as delegate and alternate to other governmental agencies or community organizations is not a “Project” as defined under Section 15378 of the California Environmental Quality Act State Guidelines; therefore, pursuant to State Guidelines Section 15060(c)(3), no environmental review is required.
