APPROVE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL\nSERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PALOS\nVERDES ESTATES AND MV CHENG & ASSOCIATES TO PROVIDE\nSERVICES FOR THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR\n2023-2024.\nRecommendation: That the City Council authorize the City\nManager to sign the Second Amendment to the Professional\nServices Agreement between the City of Palos Verdes Estates\nand MV Cheng & Associates in order to:\n1. Increase the not-to-exceed amount from $97,000 to $147,000\nfor Fiscal Year 2023-2024; and\n2. Extend the term of the agreement by two years to June 30,\n2025.\nStaff Report
