UPDATE ON POLICE COMMUNICATIONS AND ADOPTION OF\nRESOLUTION R24-13 (1) APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF\nMOBILE DATA COMPUTERS, INSTALLATION, AND RELATED\nSOFTWARE COSTS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $160,000;\n(2) MAKING AN APPROPRIATION OF ASSET FORFEITURE FUND\nMONIES NOT TO EXCEED $160,000.00; AND (3) AUTHORIZING\nTHE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE RELATED DOCUMENTS ON\nBEHALF OF THE CITY AND THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO MAKE\nSUCH ACCOUNTING ENTRIES FOR THIS PURCHASE AS\nDEEMED APPROPRIATE.\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council adopt\nResolution No, R24-13: (1) approving the purchase of Mobile\nData Computers, installation, and related software costs not to\nexceed $160,000 (2) making an appropriation from Asset\nForfeiture fund monies not to exceed $160,000 and (3)\nauthorizing the City Manager to execute related documents on\nbehalf of the City and the Finance Director to make such\naccounting entries for this purchase as deemed appropriate.\nStaff Report
