VALENCIA COMMUNITY CENTER POOL RENOVATION P1018 - This item\nconsiders an award of construction contract for the pool renovation at the Valencia Community\nCenter.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Approve the plans and specifications for the Valencia Community Center Pool\nRenovation Project P1018.\n2. Award a construction contract for renovation services to National Pools, Inc., in the\namount of $288,938 and authorize a contingency in the amount of $43,340, for a total\ncontract amount not to exceed $332,278.\n3. Find the Valencia Community Center Pool Renovation Project P1018 exempt from\nreview under the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Title 14 of the\nCalifornia Code of Regulations, Article 19, Section 15301.\n4. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all documents, subject to City\nAttorney approval.
