AGREEMENT AUTHORIZING PROPOSITION 1 GRANT WITH THE SANTA\nCLARITA VALLEY WATER AGENCY AND CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF\nWATER RESOURCES TO FUND STORMWATER INFILTRATION FACILITY\nAT VIA PRINCESSA PARK - The agreement with Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency\nand California Department of Water Resources is to accept $4,882,804 Proposition 1\nGrant funds that will help fund the construction of a regional stormwater infiltration\nfacility at Via Princessa Park.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Approve and authorize the City Manager or designee to execute an agreement with\nthe Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency and California Department of Water\nResources, subject to City Attorney approval.\n2. Appropriate $757,163 to expenditure account P3033259 (Miscellaneous Grant) and\ndecrease expenditure account P3033271 (Measure W) by $757,163 for Via Princessa\nPark design; increase revenue account 259-462101 (Miscellaneous Grant) by\n$757,163.
