E. Award of Contract to Pyro Spectaculars by Souza for\nServices at the Annual July 4th Event The Parks and\nRecreation Department is seeking the City Council to\napprove a contract with Pyro Spectaculars by Souza. The\ncontract is to provide a fireworks show for the Annual July\n4th Event at Rosemead Park. This expense will be budgeted\nin the proposed Fiscal Year 2024-25, a total of $135,000 will\nbe allocated to the July 4th Event. The agreement with Pyro\nSpectaculars for fireworks services will be for $31,500.\nRecommendation: That the City Council authorize the City\nManager to approve an agreement with Pyro Spectaculars in an\namount not-to-exceed $31,500, from account number 101-4040-\n5710.\nStaff Report
