A. INTRODUCTION AND FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE NO. 23-1071 AMENDING SECTION 9-1T-21 (URBAN DWELLINGS AND URBAN LOT SPLITS) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATED TO SB-9 The City Council is requested to adopt the proposed ordinance to bring the City’s SB-9 Ordinance into conformance with State law. Presenter: City Manager Cook Recommendation: 1. Introduce Ordinance No. 23-1071 for first reading by title only, amending Title 9, Chapters 1 of the Municipal Code (Attachment “A”) related to urban dwellings and urban lot splits (SB-9) and finding the Ordinance exempt from CEQA; 2. Waive further reading of Ordinance No. 23-1071; and 3. Schedule the second reading of Ordinance No. 23-1071 for June 6, 2023.
