CONSIDER AN AWARD OF BID FOR PROJECT No. 82339, BALDY VIEW DOG PARK\nIMPROVEMENTS (BID NO. 2024-01)\nCEQA: Determined to be categorically exempt pursuant to Section 15301(c) (Existing\nFacilities), of the CEQA guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nApprove the Plans and Specifications for Project No. 82339, Baldy View Dog Park\nImprovements; award a construction contract to Green Giant Landscape, Inc. in the amount of\n$1,372,019 (Base bid amount of $1,194,419 plus additive alternate bid items A1, A2, and A3 of\n$177,600); approve a construction contingency in the amount of $227,981, for a total amount\nof $1,600,000; and authorize the City Manager to execute any extensions and any future\namendments within the City Manager’s authority.
